ANNUAL GALA DINNER Saturday 14th May 2022, The Holiday Inn, Barnsley
Our eagerly anticipated annual Gala Dinner will take place this season on 14th May 2022 at the Holiday Inn, Barnsley. This is a really special and exclusive evening which has become a firm fixture in the calendars of many. Our hosts this year will be the wonderful Christa Ackroyd and Dan Jarvis MBE who are both important supporters of
the choir.
The proceeds from the evening will go towards the trip to the Edinburgh Festival in August 2022. We are keen to provide this life changing opportunity to as many young people as possible, but this does come at a cost. Whilst young people and their families will contribute towards this cost for many families these costs are impossible to meet. It is our mission to enable as many children as possible to take part, irrespective of their personal circumstances.
The Gala Dinner will include a drinks reception followed by performances by our choirs, an excellent 3 course meal, a Grand Auction hosted by our special auctioneer, Dan Jarvis MBE and dancing until late. We have had some fantastic auction lots in previous years including back stage passes to the Royal Ballet in London, tea on the terrace at the Houses of Parliament and fine dining training sessions with Michelin Star chefs. Many are lots that money really can’t
buy – unique and special items and experiences generously donated by our special friends
and supporters.
The Gala Dinner is an incredibly
popular evening and always sells
out. Tickets cost £30 per person
which includes drinks on arrival, the
special 3 course meal and other activities.
Tables of 10 can be booked for £270 (a saving
of £30) so please consider bringing your friends along for a really special night. Capacity is limited for this event and demand is usually very high. We hope that you will be able to come along to what should be a really special night!
