BARNSLEY YOUTH CHOIR
PATRONS 23 FEBRUARY
EVENING 2022-23
In February we welcomed over 70 Patrons to our bi-annual Patrons’ Evening to spend an evening with us and our centrally based Choirs - the Children’s Choir Central, Intermediate Choir and Senior Choir. The evening began with a presentation from Mat about the exciting events that Choir Members will be undertaking over the coming months. Patrons were also provided with their special Patrons badges and an opportunity to ask any questions and offer up valuable feedback to BYC.
Patrons were then warmly invited to sit in on
the hard work and effort that goes on behind the scenes and for our Patrons to be able to experience some of the weekly work that takes place in preparation for the upcoming Concerts. The feedback we received on the evening
was really positive and everyone appreciated the opportunity they were given to be able to attend the evening.
Applications to join as a new Patron for
the 2023-2024 Season will be sent out in early Summer 2023 - if you are interested in becoming a Patron and supporting Barnsley
the rehearsals of our choirs and experience first- hand the commitment of our Music Directors as they worked their magic with the various sections in each Choir, working on several pieces, ensuring that every choir member was able to learn their part and be able to perform
it to the best of their ability at the upcoming concerts in March.
It is always a pleasure to be able to host our Patrons Evenings and to be able to meet all our valued Patrons. We love to be able to share
