As part of our quest to reach out to as many children as possible in Barnsley, we will be launching a brand new group after the Easter holidays; Little Singers West.
We decided to just go for it on the West side of Barnsley, and as we were already starting a new Junior Choir we thought we might as well start them from birth! We also noticed that people were travelling from long distances such a Stocksbridge and Shepley to Emmanuel,
so wanted to make it easier for them. We were lucky that the very busy and thriving St John’s Community Centre in Penistone was able to accommodate us on Wednesday mornings.
These sessions, as with the new Junior Choir West, will begin on Wednesday 19th April. Places are starting to fill up due to the sterling efforts of Mat Wright but there are still places available, if you have a 0-4 year old yourself,
or know someone who does. I will be leading these sessions too, so children will have the same experience as they do in the centre of
