busiest day. There are rehearsals with choirs throughout the day at Horizon CC and a concert with the Children’s Choir at 4.00pm before a concert with the Intermediate and Senior Choirs at 7.00pm.
There is some rest time on Sunday 4th December whilst the Children’s Choir perform at the Christmas Market at Horzion CC at 12.00noon. We are having a special Christmas Party in the evening with all BYC choirs and our special visitors, which should be a lot of
and feature special songs, costumes and candles. It’s going to be a fabulous end to the trip and you are all warmly invited.
Most of all we want them to experience a warm Yorkshire welcome. Particular thanks must go to Yvonne Worsley, who has worked tirelessly with Ann Wroe to ensure that
all logistical issues have been resolved.
It’s been a huge commitment to organise this partnership but we know that our young people will gain so much from it. We are
fun. A trip to York on Monday should provide them with an insight into the history of our region and a visit to the Minster should be a great experience for them.
They will finish the trip with a secret concert that hasn’t been advertised. They will perform a special ‘Lucia’ concert at St. Mary’s Church at 7.30pm on Monday 5th December. It is a free concert and all are welcome. Lucia concerts are very special Christmas events in Sweden
so grateful to families, who have offered to host our visitors. Without their support this opportunity wouldn’t be possible.
